FHRAI to Host Agri-Hospitality Summit in New Delhi
Imagine farmers who grow food and hotels that want to buy food.
This summit is like a big meeting where farmers and hotels can talk directly to each other.
It's organized by a hotel group called FHRAI.
They want to make it easier for hotels to buy food directly from farmers, especially from groups called FPOs.
This will help farmers sell their produce and help hotels get fresh ingredients.
The meeting will also include people from the government who can help make rules that support this.
The goal is to help both farmers and hotels grow together and be more sustainable by buying local food.
The Federation of Hotel and Restaurant Associations of India (FHRAI) is organizing the FPO–Hospitality & Farmer’s Benefit Summit in New Delhi on November 24, 2025.
The summit aims to strengthen linkages between the agriculture and hospitality sectors for inclusive and sustainable growth.
It will create a platform for direct engagement between Farmer Producer Organisations (FPOs), hospitality chains, and policymakers.
Discussions will focus on integrating local sourcing, promoting circular economy practices, and policy measures for the agri-hospitality value chain.
The event anticipates over 500 participants, including representatives from key government ministries and institutions.
