Shah offers two-day debate on student protests; opposition unmoved

In India, the people who make laws meet in a big building called Parliament.

Recently, a test called NEET had paper leaks, and students were upset about it.

Some students protested, and police used special guns on them.

The Home Minister, Amit Shah, said he wanted to talk about all this for two days and answer every question.

But the opposition leaders said no, and they did not want to listen to his speech.

They wanted to know who gave the order to shoot at the students.

Instead of talking, the opposition shouted and protested in the meeting hall.

Because of all the noise, the meeting had to stop for the day.

The government said the opposition was running away from the discussion, but the opposition said they wanted real answers.

So the two sides could not agree, and nothing was solved that day.
