India's Private Sector Shows Strong Growth in July: PMI
The Indian economy is doing well!
A survey called the HSBC Flash India Composite PMI shows that businesses are growing.
This is because factories are making more things and people around the world are buying them.
Even though the service sector is still growing, the pace has slowed a bit.
However, things are getting more expensive to make and buy, which is called inflation.
Businesses are a little less sure about the future than they were before, but they are still hiring people.
India's private sector demonstrated robust growth in July, according to the HSBC Flash India Composite PMI.
The Composite PMI rose to 60.7 in July, up from 58.4 in June, driven by strong manufacturing and global demand.
Manufacturing PMI climbed to 59.2 in July, the highest in nearly 17.5 years, while Services PMI was 59.8.
Inflationary pressures increased, with both input costs and output charges rising during the month.
Business confidence decreased to its lowest level since March 2023, although employment growth occurred.
