Madhya Pradesh Launches Cleanliness Drive, Focusing on Bus Stands
Madhya Pradesh is starting a big cleaning project called 'Swachhta Hi Seva' to make the state cleaner.
From September 17th to October 2nd, they will focus on cleaning bus stations, which often get messy.
They're also going to get rid of small trash areas called CTUs that are usually found in neighborhoods.
The goal is to clean up these spots, make them pretty with plants, and stop people from littering there again.
The government hopes this will make the state a healthier and nicer place to live, helping with the country's cleanliness mission.
Madhya Pradesh's UAD is organizing the 'Swachhta Hi Seva' cleanliness campaign.
The campaign will run from September 17 to October 2.
This year's focus is on cleaning and improving bus stands across the state.
The campaign also aims to eliminate over 10 lakh Cleanliness Target Units (CTUs).
Authorities plan to transform cleaned areas into green spaces to prevent future dumping.
