Farmers urged to avail crop insurance before July 31
The government is asking farmers in Anantapur district to sign up for a special insurance plan that helps them if the weather is bad.
This plan covers crops like pomegranate, sweet lime, banana, and tomato.
Farmers have to pay a small fee for each acre of land.
If the rain or temperature is not good, the insurance will pay them.
They need to sign up before July 31 to get this help.
Horticultural farmers in Anantapur district urged to enroll in weather‑based crop insurance by July 31.
