TMC Late-Night Anti-Encroachment Drive Clears Thane's Vartak Nagar Footpaths
The city government of Thane in India decided to clean up some sidewalks.
Street vendors had set up carts and small shops that blocked people from walking safely.
People had to walk into busy traffic lanes, which was dangerous.
So on the night of August 10, 2026, city workers arrived with big machines.
They removed four carts, one small shop, four tables, and twelve wooden sheds.
