Fadnavis Meets Purandar Farmers Over Airport Land

Fadnavis Meets Purandar Farmers Over Airport Land

The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, met with farmers from seven villages in Purandar to discuss the land acquisition for a new airport in Pune.

Some farmers want more money for their land, while others don't want to give up their land at all.

The government is offering Rs 1 crore per acre, but some farmers are asking for much more.

The Chief Minister said the government will try to give the best compensation possible and will also help the farmers with jobs and education.

The new airport is expected to bring more industries to Pune and help the city's economy grow.
