Former Indian selector says Rohit, Kohli replacements pose no problems

Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli are currently playing only one type of cricket: ODIs.

Many people expect them to continue until the 2027 ODI World Cup.

However, their age means people keep asking whether they can stay fit and play well.

Former selector Sandeep Patil praised what both players have done for India.

He said their futures depend partly on what they want to do.

Their futures also depend on their fitness and the selectors’ plans.

Patil believes India has enough strong younger players to replace them if needed.

He said there should not be major problems whether Rohit or Virat remains in the team.
