Bombay High Court Stays BMC Letters on Election Duty

The BMC had sent letters to court staff telling them to report for election duty.

The court also asked the BMC commissioner to explain the powers he used to send these letters.
The next hearing is on January 5.
The BMC elections are scheduled for January 15.
