Gig Worker Earnings Fluctuate Dramatically
A beauty worker who has been with Urban Company for a long time used to earn a lot of money every month.
But now, she earns much less.
The prices for her services have gone down, and the costs for things like beauty products and travel have gone up.
She also has to pay more in fees and can't refuse jobs anymore.

A beauty services partner's earnings dropped from ₹55,000-60,000 to ₹13,000 last month.
Service prices decreased from ₹1,400 to ₹800, while costs for beauty products and travel increased.
Commissions rose from ₹30 to ₹100, with convenience fees now at ₹59.
The worker is now forced to accept jobs and cannot reject more than five services without her ID being blocked.
Earlier, the worker had the flexibility to choose which services to accept or reject.
