Ranchi students ask supporters to pause food deliveries amid protest
Some students in Ranchi, a city in India, are very upset about their job exams.
They say the exams were not fair, and they want the government to look into what went wrong.
Students are sitting together at a stadium to show they will not give up until something is done.
Many kind people all over India wanted to help them, so they ordered food and sent it to the students.
Deliveries started arriving through apps like Swiggy and Zomato.
Soon there was so much food that the students could not eat it all.
The students thanked everyone but asked people to stop sending food for a day or two.
They are giving the extra food to people in need so it is not wasted.
Meanwhile, the students are still asking the government to redo the exams and investigate what happened.
Students protesting in Ranchi over alleged recruitment examination irregularities asked supporters to pause food deliveries for one to two days.
Food sent by people across India via Swiggy, Zomato and other apps piled up, with 30 to 50 packets arriving in a single day.
Surplus food is being distributed to people nearby and to those in need so nothing goes to waste.
The indefinite sit-in at Jaipal Singh Munda Stadium began on 29 July over alleged irregularities in the 14th JPSC and JSSC-CGL examinations.
Students demand cancellation of the 14th JPSC exam, a CBI probe, recruitment reforms and Chief Minister Hemant Soren's resignation.
