Bhopal Engineers Issued Notices for Negligence
In Bhopal, the city's top official gave notices to nine engineers because they didn't do their jobs properly.
Some engineers didn't visit construction sites but instead used photos sent by builders, which is not allowed.
The problem was found when the official asked for proof of site visits.
The engineers have to explain themselves in three days or face consequences.
Also, some engineers didn't follow rules for giving out work contracts and collecting taxes from big property owners.
The official wants to make sure everyone follows the rules to keep the city's work on track.
Municipal commissioner Sanskriti Jain issued show-cause notices to nine BMC engineers for negligence in monitoring construction work.
Engineers allegedly uploaded photos sent by contractors instead of conducting site visits.
Notices were issued to Brijesh Kaushal, Neelam Rajak, and Anita Mehar for not providing GPS photographs.
Additional notices were served to Anil Tatwade, KC Gupta, and Harshdeep Soni for lapses in tender agreements and tax recovery.
Engineers have three days to respond to the notices, or action will be taken.
