Bengal SSC Faces Scheduling Hurdles After Court Order
The Supreme Court gave teachers in Bengal who were let go from their jobs but not accused of wrongdoing a chance to reapply for jobs.
The teachers will now have extra time to send in their applications.
However, the group in charge of hiring teachers is having a hard time figuring out when to give the tests because of other school events and holiday breaks.
They are worried about finishing everything by the end of the year as they were told to do so earlier.
The team is trying to figure out how to make the exam schedules work to fulfill the courts directions.
The Supreme Court ordered a 10-day extension for application submissions.
The SSC is finding it difficult to adjust the selection process schedule.
The initial application period was from June 16 to July 21.
Affected teachers claimed they could not apply due to the 50% marks requirement.
The SSC must complete the recruitment by December 31 as per the court's earlier order.
