Google Photos Revives Classic Search

Google Photos has brought back the Classic Search feature, which lets users find photos using simple keywords like 'dog' or 'birthday'.

This is different from the AI-powered Ask Photos tool, which understands more detailed and conversational questions.

Users can now switch between these two search methods with a toggle in the app.

Classic Search is good for quick and simple searches, while Ask Photos is better for more complex queries that need more context.

The toggle is being rolled out gradually and is available in supported regions and languages.

Users can control their privacy settings to manage how their photos are used for AI training.
