Man Kills Family, Faces NSA in UP
A man named Farukh, who is 45 years old, is in big trouble.
He is accused of killing his wife and two young daughters.
This happened in a village called Ghari Daulat in Uttar Pradesh.
The police say he shot his wife and one daughter and then strangled the other daughter.
After that, he buried their bodies in his house to hide what he had done.
The police caught him on December 17 last year.
Now, the government has used a special law called the National Security Act to keep him in jail for up to a year without a trial.
This law is used when someone is thought to be a big danger to society.
The court also said no to his request to get out of jail on bail.
The police are still doing some more paperwork for this special law.
Farukh, 45, allegedly killed his wife and two daughters in Ghari Daulat village, Shamli district, UP.
He shot his wife and one daughter, then strangled the other daughter following a family dispute.
Bodies were buried inside the house to destroy evidence, later recovered by police.
Arrested on December 17, 2023; National Security Act (NSA) invoked on an unspecified Saturday in February 2024.
Sessions court rejected Farukh's bail plea; further legal formalities for NSA are being completed.
