Producer Says Playing Lord Ram Requires More Than Dietary Changes
Anupriya Nagar produces a devotional movie called Hanuman Ansh.
She talked about Ranbir Kapoor playing Lord Ram in the upcoming film Ramayana.
She said an actor playing a respected religious figure must do more than change their diet.
The actor should also behave humbly and responsibly.
Nagar said people pay attention to how such actors act in public.
She explained that her own film team recited the Hanuman Chalisa before filming each day.
Ramayana will have two parts.
The first part is planned for Diwali 2026, and the second part is planned for Diwali 2027.
Hanuman Ansh producer Anupriya Nagar discussed Ranbir Kapoor’s portrayal of Lord Ram in Ramayana.
Nagar said playing Lord Ram requires appropriate conduct, humility, and responsible public behavior—not only giving up non-vegetarian food.
She said her film’s team recited the Hanuman Chalisa daily before shooting.
Hanuman Ansh is based on the life of the saint Neem Karoli Baba and has had a successful theatrical run.
