Karnataka CM Alleges Voter Purge in Revision Drive

Karnataka Chief Minister D. K. Shivakumar says a voter-list checking process has serious problems.

He alleges that some people are trying to remove many voters from the list.

He says minority, Dalit and OBC voters may be especially affected.

He accused BJP workers of submitting forms to request voter deletions.

He also questioned how they obtained voters’ personal information.

Shivakumar said complaints and FIRs have been filed in some places.

He wants government officials and the Election Commission to investigate.

He promised to keep fighting to protect people’s right to vote.
