Naidu Says Andhra Spent Rs 76,000 Crore On Pensions

Andhra Pradesh gives money each month to help poor and vulnerable people.

This program is called the NTR Bharosa pension scheme.

Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu said the government has spent Rs 76,000 crore on these pensions.

He said the money was provided even though the government faced financial difficulties.

Naidu also spoke about low rainfall and drought-like conditions.

He said recent rain arrived at the right time.

He promised to finish 36 irrigation projects in three years.

He also said a large water project could help the Krishna and Godavari delta regions.

Naidu and the YSRCP disagree about reservations for BC communities.
