Thane Hosts Inclusive Dahi Handi Celebration for Differently-Abled Children
A group in Thane organised a special Dahi Handi celebration for children with different abilities.
The event was held by the Shri Anand Charitable Trust.
Rajan Vichare helped lead the celebration.
The children made human pyramids together.
They tried to break a pot filled with curd and butter.
Many people came to cheer for them.
Organisers provided safety equipment, mats and volunteers.
The event showed that everyone should be able to enjoy traditional festivals.

Former Member of Parliament and Shiv Sena leader Rajan Vichare spearheaded the initiative.
Participants formed human pyramids and broke a traditional earthen pot filled with curd and butter.
Organisers used protective gear, padded mats and supportive volunteers to help ensure the children’s safety.
