Chetu Foundation Funds Electric Meal Delivery for Schoolchildren in India
A company called Chetu gave seven electric food trucks to Akshaya Patra, a group that feeds kids in India.
These trucks will bring lunches to schools in the Delhi area, helping about 18,000 students every day.
This helps children get healthy food and also protects the environment because the trucks run on electricity.
Chetu and Akshaya Patra want to help kids and be kind to the planet at the same time.
The new trucks are designed to keep the food safe and fresh during delivery.
The goal is to feed many more children by 2027.
Chetu Foundation donated seven electric vehicles to Akshaya Patra.
The vehicles will deliver midday meals to schoolchildren in the Delhi-NCR region.
The initiative aims to combat child hunger while promoting environmental responsibility.
Each vehicle will make two trips daily, delivering 3,000 meals.
The goal is to feed 18,000 students, totaling over 4 million meals annually.
