Hyderabad Establishes Home Guard Co-Operative Society

The Hyderabad police commissioner, V.C. Sajjanar, announced that a new Home Guard Co-operative Society will be set up soon.

This society will help the families of Home Guards.

The government is also thinking about giving double-bedroom houses to eligible Home Guards.

Sajjanar advised Home Guards to renew their driving licenses to avoid problems with insurance.

He also warned that anyone who is negligent or involved in corruption will face strict action.

During the event, certificates and cheques were given to Home Guards for their excellent work and to the families of those who passed away.

In Cyberabad, a similar society was formed in January, and it has already helped many Home Guards with loans and medical support.

The NTR district police commissioner, S.V. Rajasekhar Babu, praised the Home Guards for their vital role in policing.

The government provided ₹5 lakh ex-gratia each to the families of deceased Home Guards and scholarships to their children.

Comprehensive medical check-ups were also organized for all personnel.

In Tirupati, the District SP L Subbarayudu celebrated the Home Guards Foundation Day, emphasizing the important duties and responsibilities of Home Guards in maintaining public safety.

He encouraged regular practice of yoga, meditation, and exercise for their well-being and urged them to follow safety rules and enroll in important insurance schemes.
