Maruti Suzuki Expands India’s Manufacturing and Export Power

Maruti Suzuki makes many cars in India for people in India and for buyers in other countries.

It produced more than two million vehicles in FY26.

Nearly half of India’s exported passenger vehicles came from the company.

Suzuki now makes about two-thirds of its worldwide production in India.

Maruti Suzuki is building and expanding factories in Gujarat and Haryana.

These factories also encourage parts makers to build nearby.

The company is adding more SUVs because many customers want larger vehicles.

It has also started selling its first electric car, called the e-Vitara.

Maruti Suzuki wants more of its cars and parts to be made in India.
