The Fit India 'Sundays on Cycle' initiative celebrated its one-year anniversary on December 21, 2025.

Over 20 lakh people participated across 2 lakh locations nationwide.

The main event in Puducherry featured over 1,500 cyclists, including athletes and students.

A new Carbon Credit Incentivisation feature was launched in the Fit India Mobile App to encourage regular cycling.

Additionally, the Waltair Division of the East Coast Railway organized a cycle rally in Visakhapatnam as part of the 'Sundays on Cycle' initiative, encouraging employees and citizens to focus on fitness.

The rally was led by Divisional Railway Manager Lalit Bohra and saw active participation from officers, children, sportspersons, and employees.

The Fit India Movement, launched by the Prime Minister in 2019, aims to make fitness a part of daily life for all citizens.
