UP Government Funds Market Research for Sustainable Tourism Strategy
The government of Uttar Pradesh wants to make its tourism even better and last for a long time!
They are asking smart people to do research and give them ideas.
Each research project can get money, up to 10 lakh rupees.
They will pick up to five projects each year.
This research will help them figure out how to welcome many visitors, like during big festivals, but also make sure places stay clean and not too crowded.
They also want to know how to make different tourist spots, like those related to Lord Ram or Buddha, more popular.
The goal is to help local businesses and make sure tourism helps the state grow in a good way that doesn't harm the environment.
Uttar Pradesh government to fund market research studies in tourism and hospitality.
Each study can receive up to Rs 10 lakh in financial assistance.
A maximum of five high-impact research studies will be funded annually.
The initiative aims to create a sustainable strategy, improve visitor experiences, and manage crowd control.
Research will cover areas like visitor management at key destinations, tourism circuit competitiveness, and impact assessment of rural, eco, and heritage tourism.
