Uttar Pradesh Deploys Rescue Teams as Floods Affect 12 Districts
Heavy rain in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh made some rivers rise very high.
Two rivers, the Sharda and the Ghaghra, are now above the danger mark.
Because of this, water has entered many villages and towns.
About 64,402 people in 166 villages have been affected.
The government, led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is helping people.
Rescue teams with boats and motorboats are moving people to safe places.
They have set up shelters and are giving out food, water tablets, and medicine.
Doctors and ambulances are also ready to help.
The government says it is fully prepared to handle the floods.
So far, no one has been reported hurt or lost.
