Man Matters Index Finds Hair Loss Concentrated Among Younger Men

Man Matters studied more than 700,000 hair-loss consultations.

It found that many men asking for help were quite young.

Two out of three were in their 20s.

Almost nine out of ten were younger than 35.

Many men waited until their hair loss had already reached Stage 3 or later.

Men under 25 usually noticed their hairline moving back.

Men in their late 30s and 40s more often noticed thinner hair overall.

The report says these results describe people who consulted Man Matters, not every man in India.

It also says that doctors may have more options to consider when hair loss is assessed earlier.
