Rare Video Shows Albino Blackbuck And Deer on IIT Madras Campus
Imagine a college campus that's also a home for animals!
At IIT Madras, there's a special place where blackbucks (a type of antelope) and deer live happily.
Someone took a video showing a white blackbuck (which is rare!)
running with deer on the running track.
The campus is next to a park, so the animals and students live together.
The college works hard to keep the animals safe, like building paths for them to move around and making sure they don't fall into any holes.
A video shared by IIT Madras shows a blackbuck and deer running on campus.
The video was taken at the Manohar C Wasta Stadium inside IIT Madras.
The sighting highlights the campus's coexistence with nature, adjacent to Guindy National Park.
The video includes an albino blackbuck and several deer.
IIT Madras has implemented measures to protect the wildlife, including demarcating deer corridors.
