ASI Critically Injured in Crude Bomb Attack During Bengal Raid

Police officers went to a suspected illegal gambling den in West Bengal after receiving a tip.

The police team was led by Assistant Sub-Inspector Sadiq Ali.

People at the site allegedly threw several crude bombs at the officers.

Ali was badly hurt, and some other officers had smaller injuries.

He was first taken to a local hospital and then moved to a larger hospital.

Police and Rapid Action Force personnel were sent to the village to prevent more trouble.

No one has been arrested yet, but some suspects are being questioned.

Police are studying CCTV footage to find out who carried out the attack.
