August Sky Guide: Meteors, Planets, and Moon Events
The August night sky in India will put on a show!
The Perseids meteor shower will peak on August 12-13, when you might see lots of shooting stars.
The moon might make it harder to see some of the meteors because of its bright light.
Later in the month, on August 26, you can spot Mars next to the moon.
Other events include Venus and Jupiter close together and Mercury being easier to see.
Remember to go somewhere dark and let your eyes adjust to enjoy the show!
