Infosys Foundation, with the help of Malligavad Foundation, cleaned up and improved Doddathoguru Lake in Bengaluru.

They also added places for people to walk, play, and exercise.
The lake was once used for drinking water but got dirty over time.

The project cost around Rs 9 crore and included de-weeding, desilting, bund creation, and natural treatment
The lake's water-holding capacity increased by nearly 500 million litres, mitigating urban flooding
