Paris tops workcation ranking, with Bangkok and London close behind
A 'workcation' is when you work remotely from a vacation spot.
Some cities are better for this than others.
A company called Holafly studied cities to find the best ones.
They looked at internet speed, hotel prices, walkability, and more.
Paris was ranked the best city for workcations.
Bangkok came second because it has fast internet and cheap hotels.
London came third even though it is expensive to stay there.
Hong Kong had the fastest internet of all the top cities.
Guangzhou came fifth as a budget-friendly option.
The main lesson is to check the Wi-Fi before you book your trip.
Travel eSIM provider Holafly ranked cities for workcations using metrics like broadband speed, hotel prices, coworking access, walkability, nature proximity, and summer temperatures, with the results reported by Forbes.
Paris took the top spot, scoring 9.7 out of 10 for walkability, posting 240.67 Mbps broadband, and earning the maximum score for nature access.
Bangkok ranked second, recording 317.03 Mbps broadband and average hotel prices of about $32 per night.
London placed third despite having the highest-priced accommodation on the list, helped by strong walkability, nature access, and reachable coworking spaces.
Hong Kong ranked fourth with the fastest broadband of the top five at 355.55 Mbps, and Guangzhou rounded out the top five as a budget-friendly alternative.
