Thief Robs Ghaziabad Mobile Shop While Police Handle Encounter

A thief broke into a mobile phone shop in a city called Ghaziabad in India.

While the robbery was happening, the local police were busy catching two other criminals only a short distance away.

The shop belonged to a man named Haji Shami.

He had closed the shop at 10 o'clock at night and gone home.

When he came back the next day, he saw that the locks on the shop shutter had been broken.

The thief took mobile phones worth about 600,000 rupees, which is a lot of money, plus 20,000 rupees in cash and other things.

A security camera caught the thief on video, but nobody knows who he is.

The police are now looking into the robbery.

The thief chose a bad time for the shop owner, because the police were busy 400 metres away dealing with the other criminals.
