HYDRAA reclaims Rs 35 cr park land from encroachers in Hyderabad
In Hyderabad, a special team called HYDRAA helped take back two parks that were being used illegally.
They found that people had built things on the parks, which is not allowed.
The parks are worth a lot of money, about Rs 35 crore.
The team removed the illegal buildings and put up fences to keep the parks safe.
They also put up signs to show that the land is for parks.
This happened because people who live nearby complained that the parks were being taken over.
The parks are part of a big area with many houses, and the team made sure to protect the open spaces for everyone to use.
HYDRAA reclaimed two encroached parks in Kukatpally, Hyderabad, securing over 3,000 square yards of open space.
The market value of the protected land is estimated at around Rs 35 crore.
The action followed a complaint from the Residents’ Welfare Association of Bhagyanagar Phase–III Colony.
Officials found that nearly half of a 2,000-square-yard park and about 1,000 square yards of another park had been illegally occupied.
HYDRAA officials removed illegal structures, erected fencing, and installed boards marking the land as park areas.
