The CSIR NET is an exam for people who want to do research or teach in Indian colleges and universities.
The National Testing Agency conducted this year's exam on July 17 and 18.

The agency first released a temporary answer key on August 16.
Students were allowed to point out possible mistakes until August 18.
The agency now says it will publish the final answer key this week.
The exam results will be calculated using that final key.
Depending on their results, candidates may qualify for research fellowships, Assistant Professor appointments or PhD admission.
The National Testing Agency said the CSIR NET 2026 final answer key will be published this week.
The exam was held on July 17 and 18 in computer-based mode across 224 cities and 352 centres.
