Bombay HC Dismisses Property Dispute Case
The Bombay High Court recently dismissed a case where a daughter was trying to get a Letter of Administration for her late mother's Will.
The Will left property to her and two of her brothers, but the other two brothers, who were in the father's Will but not in the mother's, said the mother's Will was suspicious.
The court agreed and dismissed the daughter's request.
The court also talked about how family fights over property are common and hope that such disputes will decrease for the good of society.
Bombay High Court dismissed a daughter's petition for a Letter of Administration regarding her mother's Will.
The mother's Will bequeathed property to the daughter and two of her brothers, excluding the other two.
The excluded brothers claimed the mother's Will was made under influence and collusion.
The court found suspicious circumstances surrounding the mother's Will and dismissed the petition.
The court expressed hope that family property disputes will be curtailed in the larger interest of society.
