Delhi Couple Arrested Over Alleged Forged-Document Gurugram Flat Sale
Police say a Delhi couple sold a flat in Gurugram for Rs 1.10 crore.
The couple allegedly told the buyer that a bank loan on the flat would be cleared.
They allegedly used fake bank papers and screenshots to make the buyer believe the loan had been repaid.
The buyer paid the full amount in instalments.
The sale deed was signed on January 23, 2025.
Later, the bank allegedly confirmed that Rs 35.70 lakh was still owed.
The buyer complained to police on April 4.
Police arrested the couple and are still investigating the case.

The sale deed was executed on January 23, 2025, but Rs 35.70 lakh allegedly remained outstanding on the property loan.
The case was registered at Sector 56 police station, and police said the investigation is continuing.
