ASF Resurfaces in Dhakuakhana; Authorities Act
Imagine a bad sickness called African Swine Fever that makes pigs very sick.
It came back to a place called Dhakuakhana.
Because of this, the people in charge are trying to stop it from spreading.
They had to get rid of 18 pigs at one farm to keep others safe.
This disease was found by testing blood from a sick pig.
This is not the first time this has happened, as the sickness was also there a couple of years ago.
Now they are working hard to stop the disease from getting worse.
African Swine Fever (ASF) has resurfaced in Dhakuakhana, Lakhimpur.
Authorities have implemented containment measures and imposed prohibitory orders.
