Nashik Finds 3,672 Malnourished Children During District Screening
Officials checked the health of young children across Nashik district.
They found 3,672 children who were malnourished.
Of these, 463 were severely malnourished and 3,209 were moderately malnourished.
Health teams screened more than 312,000 children aged six or younger.
The district collector ordered officials to provide treatment and nutritious food.
Some children are receiving care at Nutrition Rehabilitation Centers.
Anganwadi staff and local village groups will keep watching their health.
