India Condemns Black Sea Ship Attack That Killed Two Seafarers

A ship called MV Royad Mammadov was attacked in the Black Sea.

Two sailors from other countries died.

Several other crew members were hurt, including some Indians.

Romanian authorities rescued the injured sailors, and they are getting medical care.

India said the three Indian crew members are safe.

India thanked Romania for helping.

India said attacks on ships put sailors and trade at risk.

It also said countries should use dialogue and diplomacy to end conflicts.

In September 2026, India and Liberia launched a group of 25 nations to work on shipping and seafarer safety.
