Maharashtra To Launch 100-Day Door-to-Door Health Screening Campaign

Maharashtra is starting a health-check campaign on September 1.

It will last for 100 days.

Health workers will visit homes across the state.

They will mainly check people older than 30.

The checks will look for diabetes, high blood pressure and three types of cancer.

Workers will help people with possible health problems get testing and treatment.

They will also keep track of patients using a digital system.

The state plans to begin a tuberculosis project in Kolhapur and later expand it.
