Kotak Mahindra Bank Announces Share Split
Kotak Mahindra Bank has announced that it will split its shares in a 5:1 ratio.
This means that for every 1 share you own, you will get 5 shares.
The split will happen on January 14, 2026.
Because of this split, the prices of the bank's futures and options contracts will also change.
For futures, the price on January 13 will be divided by 5, and the number of shares in each contract will increase from 400 to 2,000.
For options, the strike prices will also be divided by 5.
For example, a strike price of 2,000 will become 400.
This change won't affect the overall trend of the stock, so traders can keep their investment plans but should note the changes in their contracts.
Kotak Mahindra Bank announced a 5:1 share split with a record date of January 14, 2026.
The adjustment factor for futures and options contracts is 5.
Futures contracts will be carried forward to January 14 at the daily settlement price on January 13 divided by 5.
