Super Giants Eye SA20 Title After Marathon Mindset
The Super Giants are a cricket team that played in South Africa’s SA20 league.
They finished fifth last season and want to do better this year.
Their coach, Tony de Zorzi, says the season is a long race, not a quick sprint.
He thinks the team will use the experience of captain Aiden Markram and other good batsmen to win.
They will play against the Pretoria Capitals on January 19, 2027, at a stadium in Centurion that is known for big crowds and high‑scoring games.
Super Giants finished fifth in SA20 Season 3 and aim to improve against Pretoria Capitals on Jan 19, 2027.
Coach Tony de Zorzi, former Sunrisers Eastern Cape star, stresses the 10‑match league as a marathon, not a sprint.
The team will rely on experienced captain Aiden Markram and key batsmen Heinrich Klaasen, Jos Buttler, and Devon Conway.
De Zorzi highlighted Centurion’s high‑scoring, crowd‑friendly environment as advantageous for the Super Giants.
The match will be played at SuperSport Park in Centurion, a venue where the Giants have strong local knowledge.
