Telangana Waqf Tribunal Extends Data Upload Deadline
The Telangana State Waqf Tribunal has given an extra three months for people to put information about Waqf properties on a special website called the Umeed portal.
The original deadline was January 3, 2025, but now it's been moved back.
The Waqf Board, which takes care of many properties, asked for this extra time.
If anyone has trouble putting their information on the website, they should talk to the Waqf Board's CEO, not middlemen.
This is important because the government wants all Waqf property information to be online.
The Telangana State Waqf Tribunal extended the deadline for uploading Waqf property data on the Umeed portal by three months.
The original deadline was January 3, 2025, but the extension moves it to April 3, 2025.
The Waqf Amendment Act became effective on July 3, 2024, as per the Centre's gazette.
The Telangana Waqf Board, which manages thousands of properties, sought the extension.
Mutawallis facing issues with data upload are advised to contact the Waqf Board's CEO, Md. Asadullah, directly.
