Rotarians Donate AI-Powered Glasses to Blind Students
Imagine special glasses that help blind students see!
These glasses, given by Rotarians, use smart technology to help kids recognize things, read books, and walk around safely.
They can even tell the students who is nearby.
The glasses cost money, but a group raised funds to buy them.
These glasses have an electronic brain that scans text and reads it aloud in different languages.
Students will also learn how to use them.
It's like giving the students super-powered eyes to help them in school and daily life.
Rotarians gifted state-of-the-art vision glasses to 25 students at the Institute for the Blind in Chandigarh.
The glasses, costing Rs 36,750 each, utilize artificial intelligence, machine vision, and machine learning.
These glasses enable users to recognize objects, read in multiple languages, and navigate with obstacle alerts.
The devices can be used for six hours non-stop and sync wirelessly with a mobile.
The 'SuDrishti' project, in association with Vision Aid, raised Rs 15 lakh for 40 glasses.
