Revanth Reddy Orders Faster Land Acquisition for Musi Project

Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy wants the Musi Rejuvenation Project to move faster.

A major part of the work involves acquiring land beside the river.

Some residents have not been ready to leave their land, creating delays.

The government plans to create rules for pooling land in a way that provides mutual benefit.

Officials must also make clear rules for land in Full Tank Level, buffer-zone and assigned-land areas.

The chief minister said residents should not face unnecessary hardships.

He also ordered officials to invite tenders for the project's second phase soon.

Municipal commissioners were asked to find low-interest loans and check development rights every week.

The meeting also discussed a temple's tenders and publicity for the Kothwalguda Bird Park.
