IIT Indore Highlights SAKSHAM Project Achievements
IIT Indore recently had a big meeting to show how well their SAKSHAM project is doing.
This project, which costs ₹100 crore, is helping six other universities in India.
The goal is to make research better and stronger, following the National Education Policy 2020.
They talked about how they are working together on important things like taking care of the environment, making new materials, and improving health technologies.
One big achievement was opening a new center at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya that has special tools for research.
Everyone involved is happy with the progress and wants to keep working together to make India's research better.
IIT Indore showcased achievements of the ₹100-crore SAKSHAM project during a review meeting with ANRF CEO Dr. Shivkumar Kalyanaraman.
The project aims to empower academic and research institutions under the ANRF–PAIR initiative, aligning with NEP 2020.
IIT Indore is mentoring six partner institutions: Bundelkhand University, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, IIIT Bhopal, NIT Kurukshetra, RTM Nagpur University, and Vikram University.
The project focuses on three thematic areas: Environmental Sustainability, Advanced Materials, and Health & Medical Technologies.
A key achievement was the inauguration of a Sophisticated Instrumentation Centre (SIC) at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, enhancing regional research capabilities.
