Assam Makes Connectivity Foundation of Next Growth Phase, Sarma Says
Assam is building more bridges and improving roads and railways.
Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma says this will help people travel more easily.
He recently opened a railway overbridge in Cinnamara, Jorhat.
The bridge lets vehicles and pedestrians cross over the railway line.
This can reduce waiting at busy railway crossings.
It may also make traffic safer and smoother.
Better connections can help farmers, businesses and workers reach markets and jobs.
They can also help people get to schools and hospitals.
The government says connectivity will support Assam’s next stage of development.
