India, Israel Boost Trade Ties; Amul Eyes Israeli Market
India and Israel are working to strengthen their trade relationship.
They recently signed an agreement to start talks for a Free Trade Agreement.
Amul, an Indian dairy company, wants to sell more of its products in Israel.
Both countries want to increase investment and trade in areas like electronics, machinery, and medical equipment.
In the past, India has received over $300 million in investment from Israel.
However, bilateral trade between the two countries decreased last year due to global economic slowdown.
Israel's economy minister believes that the FTA will help boost trade and investments between the two countries.
