Goa Declared Fully Literate Under New Literacy Program
Goa is now considered a fully literate state!
This means almost everyone in Goa can read and write.
The government used a program called Ullas to help people learn.
The goal was to reach those who didn't go to school when they were younger.
The state surveyed even the smallest villages.
People as old as 80 learned and passed an exam.
Now, Goa is aiming to eliminate tuberculosis.
It's a great achievement for Goa!
