Kia India targets 410,000 sales by 2030 with electrification

Kia India wants to sell 410,000 vehicles in India by 2030.

It plans to add 10 models to its lineup.

Eight of those models will use electric, hybrid, or CNG technology.

Kia has factories capable of making 430,000 vehicles each year.

The company has not yet decided whether it needs bigger factories.

It has launched the Sorento, a large SUV with six- or seven-seat options.

The Sorento can use diesel or hybrid power.

Kia also wants to sell more cars overseas and make hybrid technology locally to reduce costs.
